Some of you may be aware that the National Endowment for the Arts has banned applicants from listing any titles they may have published with BlazeVOX books, one of the most daring and innovative poetry publishers in the U.S. This is outflow from the controversy that flared up around the modest cooperative-funding model BlazeVOX had employed for some of its books (a practice editor Geoffrey Gatza has now canceled). Here is an article on the latest development in the saga, appearing today in the Buffalo News.
