two giants / stands


far and tiny behind them


sees this watches the huge


man grip his giantess’s head force it down


into the deep sink her arms pinned to


sides giant at her back pushes stiffened


neck head farther into the gray


sink you missed me again


again you missed me words /


tiny far but clear

road into town to


find buildings streets even


other roads away and back across


back / shuffling around in half-light


the one leaving the one staying / the one


leaving shifting blurring and


having returned blurred shifted


part of the one having left left behind


or having brought from


from back a small something /


the one having stayed must revise must


because both must eat

inca descent it means / diction


letter by letter again slowly it spell


it a dictionary one letter at a time


meaning / incan essence


slowly look


again / incandescence
